High Fuel Prices, not Funny. Not So!

I thought about not driving: that's not super unleaded in my car, it's my superannuation.
I put a hundred bucks of fuel in my car the other day and it barely got me out of the servo and down the road to the next one so I could fill up again.
It's got so bad these days that I will only drive somewhere if I know its downhill.
I'm thinking of putting a hole in the floor of my car and powering it like Fred did in the Flintstones. (Admittedly, I would still go through about fifteen bucks a week in thongs.)
When Millionaire comes back on TV, it will not only have a new host, it will have a new name: Who Wants to Win a Full Tank of Petrol...

The TV campaign features Geoff Allemand (Scratch me Back Director) showing how easy it is to save on fuel by supporting locally owned businesses.
Shepparton/Mooroopna local businesses include: Finer Fruit, Mooroopna Home Hardware and Computer Tech Support. Cards can be redeemed at Mobil in Archer St.
Geoff's shirt shows the words - Just Ask.
Shop at a participating business, spend over the minimum and if the staff forget to offer a card - Just Ask!
Just scratch the back of the card to reveal your fuel discount. Exciting!
Card values include 5c, 10c, 15c, 25c, 50c or $1.00 off per litre.

Our first TV advert went to air last week on Southern Cross Ten in the Shepparton window. A great company to work with.
The campaign focus is:- Up to $1.00 off per litre, add the cards together and Just Ask.
Shepparton and Echuca businesses feature in the first campaign with others to follow in other areas.
Shoppers can go to our website and win 50 free cards and in June a $500 fuel prize is available.
Businesses who enter before June 30 get 250 free cards with each joining fee.

Administrative changes will enable us to track all fuel discounts from all our participating fuel outlets and allow us to reach all people who use the cards.

Last year Scratch me Back faced opposition from another fuel discount scheme who used dirty tactics to try and slow our progress.
Happy to say that since then we have gone from strength to strength with 2006 shaping up as a year to consolidate and offer more services to our clients. Showing them how the SmeB fuel discount scheme will drive customers to their door with statistics to prove it.
